                                                      No Title Needed

It seems that these things are getting fewer and far between. However, here we are once again with another installment of Shooter’s Alley.

Jen Holbrook, the best female announcer in the business, and of all time, has been in the process of updating her photos at JenHolbrook.com. She sent me a preview, and boy were they hot!!!! Jen also continues to regularly update her diary entries. Those are always great reads, and despite me being mentioned in several of them, there is no romantic link between the J-Ho and myself. Speaking of Jen, I had the pleasure of working with her this past week in Rome. As always I enjoy her company, and when you get the two of us together it is usually a non-stop talk fest.

Well. I can go ahead and scratch some to do things off my career list. I made my Hardcore Hell debut this year for NWA Wildside, not only in the role as “Friday Night Franchise owner”, but as a first half color commentator with Steven “DeTruth” Prazak. I grew up in North Georgia watching Steven and Scott Hudson on NGWA tv, and was always amazed with their chemistry together. Steven at the time was an awesome heel announcer, who morphed into a guy who could provide play by play, while still doing color. I want to thank Bill Beherns, Dan the Dragon Wilson, Rick Micheals, and the entire Wildside crew for giving me this chance. While we are on the subject of NWA Wildside, I have to say it has been a great time since I have been there. The Friday shows are just awesome, and TV is a lot of fun. It has given me a chance to catch up with a lot of guys whom I worked with several years ago when they were first coming up on the indy scene here in Georgia. It is just amazing to see guys like Jimmy Rave and Rainman tearing up the rings at ROH, CZW, and TNA, when it seems just like yesterday they were either iming me to introduce them to a trainer, or driving a broke down ring truck from town to town, just to get a spot on a shitty show. I am extremely proud of them. The same goes for everyone and I hope they know who they are.

So I know there is a link to my site over at the GCW website, and I also know some of the great fans in Bama are frequent visitors to my site. That is why I wanted to take the time to say thank you for being supportive of GCW over the years. Dan and Guff are a couple of good guys, and they have been pretty good to me over the years. However, I had several reasons leaving the company. One of them being I have too much on my plate here in Georgia, and with all that, I wouldn’t be able to give them the full attention I feel they deserve. Another one being certain talent being booked. I am not a big fan of Goth, I don’t have personal heat with the man. He has just always struck me as a self serving jackass, and the couple times I have been in the locker room with him, well lets just say that his locker room manner was decent, but the only one raving about his matches was him. Now look, Goth will spin this and threaten me, which is fine. I don’t have a problem with him, its just that if I don’t have to associate myself with him, then I won’t. That’s my choice. I wish the GCW good luck, and yes I even wish Goth luck with GCW. I just won’t be there to see it happen.

I’ll close this out with a big shout out to Rick Micheals. Rick just got hired by the WWE to work on their outfits at both television shows and Pay per views. I want to send Rick my best wishes and tons of luck in this endeavor. Till the next time we speak, remember God is good all the time, and all the time God is good, so if you don’t know him, you need to find him, and show him love, because that is all he is showing you. (All thanks to Ryan Stewart for that line).
